From his unmistakable Italian heritage, he embarked on a musical journey that initially embraced classical tones before succumbing to the allure of blues. At a mere 12 years old, he found himself touring alongside B.B. King. In May 2009, he graced the stage of London’s Royal Albert Hall, playing host to Eric Clapton during one of his concerts, an event later immortalized in a DVD. His most recent studio endeavor, “Driving Towards the Daylight,” saw the light of day in May 2012.

June 2010 witnessed his prominent presence at the “Crossroads Guitar Festival 2010” in Chicago, an annual gathering of guitar virtuosos organized for charitable purposes by Eric Clapton. Co-founding the rock supergroup Black Country Communion with Jason Bonham, son of the legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, Derek Sherinian (former Dream Theater keyboardist), and Glenn Hughes (ex-Deep Purple and Black Sabbath), they debuted with the album “Black Country” on September 20, 2010, followed by a second installment titled “2” on June 13, 2011. Following the release of “Live over Europe” (2CD) in 2013, a new album, “Afterglow,” emerged. His artistic contributions extend through collaborations with luminaries such as Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Paul Rodgers, Jack Bruce, Joe Cocker, Gregg Allman, Eric Johnson, Warren Haynes, Foreigner, Beth Hart (with whom he recorded two albums), Danny Gatton (his mentor since the age of 13), and many others.
